Co-Founder

Samuel Cheng

Samuel has over five years of experience in the banking industry. He joined Standard Chartered Bank as part of the prestigious International Graduate Program and spent two years in credit risk, where he assessed the business models and financials of local and international companies. Subsequently, he was fast-tracked to client coverage, where he was the youngest member of the team. There, he was responsible for deal origination and the structuring of financial solutions to help companies with balance sheet optimization and business growth.​

He graduated with a First Class Honours in Business Management from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and pursued a degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brooks University while serving his national service. During his university days, he represented the school in multiple international case competitions, and after graduating, he contributed to the case team as an alumni mentor.​

Samuel is also the country representative of Nanyang Technological University in Vietnam, where he helps place students in promising startups. He is also an investor in early-stage startups and businesses.

Co-Founder

Jun Hao Seah

Seah Jun Hao is a Co-Founder of Simple Group, which he founded in July 2020. ​He is also a community leader, investor and a serial entrepreneur.​

He has business interests in a wide variety of ventures and has achieved successful exits  from a number of them. Jun Hao serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors on a number of non-profit entities in Singapore and USA, and also actively volunteers in multiple community-centric organizations. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Cambodia Logistics and Supply Chain Business Association, and on the Board of Directors for the Singapore-Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Singapore Chamber of Commerce Malaysia. He is also a Program Director for the Singapore Management University.​

He graduated from Imperial College London with M.Eng (First Class Honours) in Aeronautical Engineering. He was named Department Scholar of Aeronautics, and he is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. ​

Prior to embarking on his entrepreneurship journey, Jun Hao served in the Singapore Armed Forces for 10 years. He was awarded the prestigious SAF Overseas Scholarship and was groomed in several key appointments including as the Military Private Secretary to Dr Maliki Osman (now Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office).
